When A Girl Said To Me 'I'll prefer Tech Mahindra Over Google' During Interview

When I was working with Tech Mahindra during 2011, I and my friend were asked to hire some candidates for an upcoming project. Among all candidates, I asked a question with everyone 'Why you want to join Tech Mahindra?', I got some neutral answers but one answer by a girl led discussion to next level.

Her answer was: 'Sir, Tech Mahindra is my dream company. From the day I took admission in B.Tech, I used to think that I'll join Tech Mahindra one day.' When I asked 'What if you have offer from Google?' She responded 'I'll prefer Tech Mahindra over Google.' 

When I tried to uncover more of her logic, she started giving silly reasons to drop Google for Tech Mahindra. At one point, she went blank. 

I remember there was one boy whom I asked the same question. He clearly said 'Sir, I don't think the knowledge I have now I can get Google offer but still if I get it then I'll happily choose Google and drop Tech Mahindra. As right now Tech Mahindra shortlisted my resume and providing me an opportunity for job, not Google so my heart is with Tech Mahindra.

That girl and boy both were technically good and we had to shortlist only one. Tell me in comments who was selected and why?
