Just like any other guy who loves traveling, writing, living the
life fullest, and a strong believer of 'One life, no
regrets!' But, to answer your question: My name is Tarun
Varshney. I completed a degree in software engineering at 20, and
spent four and a half years in the United States and Europe before
moving back to India.
Author:
I started my writing journey in 2015 and published first book in
2018.
#The Ineligible Millionaire:
Arjun, a talented programmer struggling to get a job because of
his poor academics, finds that his father is deeply in debt for a
long time. With hope – his love, Shreya, and support – his friend,
Raj, he gets roped into underpaying, downright, unfair programming
jobs, yet out of necessity, and soon incurs debts of his own. He
wonders if he has a destiny?
Often lonely and cheated, Arjun swallows a bitter pill and leaves
his parents alone to make more money with a promise to return. A
10-year-long journey of a man with his dreams who slowly discovers
something else he is destined for after a near-death
experience.
#Tohfaa Shaadi Ka:
Tohfaa Shaadi Ka is a collection of tiny stories from my
courtship, honeymoon and first year of marriage, and is a gift
which I gave to my wife in three parts: ‘Haseen Mulaqaton Ke
Silsile’ on our wedding day, ‘Ajab Safar Mein Gajab Humsafar’ on
our first wedding anniversary and ‘Pehle Saal Ke Samachaar’ on our
second wedding anniversary respectively.
I promised her during our first few meetings to write a book on
memories of our courtship and gift her. So I went ahead and tried
to write some of our memories in the form of tiny stories. I wrote
it as of my best I could write. I gifted her hand-written colorful
notes on our wedding day where every note was telling a moment we
both cherished together.
She read every story one by one for me; she loved it. At the same
time, my stories felt so authentic when she gave them her voice.
She shared her willingness to cherish our honeymoon and first-year
memories as well in the form of tiny stories, I knew the best way
to do it.
This story is written in Hinglish (the way we speak in our
day-to-day life) to keep it as simple as possible.
Blogger:
I'm also a regular blogger, write about lifestyle,
traveling, writing, and
engineering. I don't consider myself an expert but I'm happy to share my
experiences and learnings.
I started one blog with my friend in 2014 about viral content but
failed miserably. Later, I decided to write about my life experiences
and learnings so this blog came into the picture. I started working on
this blog seriously in Jan 2017. Since then I try to write one article
per week. Sometimes one in a month, depends on my schedule. Most of my
articles are derived from my personal experiences.
This blog gets visitors from more than 33 countries (May 11, 2021 -
