The Haunted Story When I Almost Drown Into Swimming Pool In Tustin

The Ineligible Millionaire: “Learning about a boy who was so under-confident, who didn’t know how to speak English properly but honed his skills and became a millionaire is surely an inspirational read. I think a large part of the audience will be able to relate to it, be it students, young professionals or mid-senior level professionals. There is a bit for everyone. And, what I really loved about this book is it doesn’t preach you anything as such in the direct narrative instead there are so many underlying messages which are enough to motivate you.” – BooksAmaze
Tohfaa Shaaadi Ka: “Such a poetic summary of their beautiful step towards their new life. How amazing it is when your loved one writes every beautiful moment in poetry and dedicates it to you. It was more like cherishing every moment of their beautiful life.” – Preethika P, Goodreads
The Ineligible Millionaire: “Arjun’s character is somebody that you grow fond of as a reader because Arjun is literally the humblest guy in the world, somebody who works really hard, somebody who is trying his best to deal with all the distress in his life. Still, life keeps throwing curve balls at him while he tries to dodge them. He keeps getting hit by them, but he doesn’t stop, and that makes his character extremely inspiring. This is the kind of book that gives out the message that good things are just around the corner and you just have to keep going.” – Saumya’s Bookstation

It was year 2015 and I just moved to an apartment in Tustin, California for my new job. In society, there was a swimming pool. Half was 4ft deep and half was 8 ft deep. In Los Angeles, I used to live in a society where swimming pool was of max 5.5 ft deep so I used to do swimming at very basic level (just diving here and there for couple of seconds in one breath). In Tustin, I started spending evening time in swimming pool at the side where water was max 4 ft deep. There was no border in swimming pool from 4ft deep towards 8 ft deep.

One day, I didn't realise that I crossed 4ft deep area and when I was short of breath I tried to put my feet on surface and stand up for breath but surface was not there. I got panicked and tried my hands to wave people standing there shouting 'help' help'. I could see an American boy standing there in pool looking at me and doing nothing. I was dipping down and coming up. I believe it went for 8-10 seconds or more, I'm not sure. But it was really terrified feeling.

After sometime, I saw my friend caught my hand and pushed me towards area where water was not deeper. By the time I had water in my mouth and nose. I was hardly able to breath. A thought ran in my mind that my life is over. I saw other person standing in 4ft area pulled me and I got my life. It took me 15 minutes to calm down.

Later, my friend told me that seeing me in 8ft deep water, they were unable to realise that I was struggling to breath. The only reason, he came for my help was: he knew I can't swim and he was shocked what I was doing in 8ft deep water. Then, he realised that something is wrong with me and he came for help.
