Our car broke down in Gujarat.

Dec 2023: I was with my family on 10 days Gujarat trip. That day we were going from Diu to Ahemdabad by taxi. On the way, our driver realised that fan stopped working. He stopped the car and saw the problem. On the way we stopped at a garage to get it checked. They said problem is with fan and fan require to be changed. They didn't have fan so they tried to fix the fan in such a way we can reach safely to Ahmedabad.

The workshop mechanics were working. In the mean time, our driver checked if we have Maruti Suzuki service center near by so we can get fan changed there. He found nearby service center in Bhav Nagar. Then, he told all of us that we might reach bit late to Ahmedabad as we have to go via Bhav Nagar, get this fan fixed.

The workshop mechanics were still trying but couldn't fix the fan. So they put some patch work to make car reach our destination. We started for Bhav Nagar. By the time we reached Maruti Service Center, all workers were left for the day. We again got stuck. This time, our driver parked car next to a restaurant so we can have some snacks and do relax till fan issue get resolved.

It was 7pm. Our driver made some phone calls and around 30 minutes later 2 mechanics came on the bike, checked car, removed fan from car, took fan with them to their workshop and told us that they will be back in 30 minutes. We had dinner done there at restaurant and time was 8:30pm. We waited, waited, and, waited but they didn't come. We were restless and trying to make phone calls to taxi agency and all. Around 9pm they came with fan, I think it was new fan but when they tried to install it, it couldn't. They said they need some part so they went to workshop again and asked us to wait for 15 mins. 

This time, they came back around 9:30pm, they fixed the fan, and we started to Ahmedabad from Bhav Nagar around 10pm that night.
